I have secured a solid venue for my Song writing Contest. The Percolator in Downtown El Paso. In addition, I have assembled a judges panel of some extraordinary local (and even regional) professionals.

Totally stoked about this... Nobody has ever done this before in EP. It couldn't happen at a better time... The Downtown area is getting a massive architectural makeover in the barrios, and the spirits are high for progressive events...and establishments.

Next Step: Sponsoring a luncheon (outta pocket) to brief admins and Judges... I hope they don't flake out on me...

Can I write one about Christmas, nailguns and air compressors. It has a rythm to it.

I love staccato ... especially automatic weaponry.

Best wishes Dog!

I would love to see the poster that you make for this event. Around here they still let you put them up on telephone polls. Most of them you can't see when you drive by but some of them with the right letters and colors you can read at 30 mph.

I still need to come up with a design...Probably gonna be very simple-Black Ink (Low budget) . The venue wants a huge one...Table cloth size...

Seriously ... this is great news.

How many time have I gone off about us needing to be entrepreneurial in order to revive live music.

Sweet ...

There has been some great ties in BM as of late. I don't care if someone disagrees, it has been most helpful to me. It is up to me to make use of these posts. Thanks, guys. All of you.
