Jeff, Outstanding dude!... You have absolutely captured the Frampton signature in that solo. Awesome job!

Thanks Dog I was sick as h3ll that night with a cold! You can see me blowing my snout in the beginning! LOL! Those guys are really a lot of fun to play with. I left another popular band to basically start over with these guys because I could just tell it was right! You just know those things when they come along!

George, that is the Banshei about 3 or 4 years ago my wife and 2 eldest sons pitched in and bought it for my birthday. Even though my sons are grown and make more money than me LOL. I still don't like them spending their money on my old grouchy @ss! I figured well the least I could do was learn the ultimate talk box song. When I play with 2 guitar players and we do "Man In The Box" by AIC I use it on that song as well. In the band I am currently playing in I am the only guitar player and it doesn't sound right on M.I.T.B. I have also used it on "Rocky Mountain Way" and "Those Shoe's"!

I heard a long time ago if you are going to make it in the music biz. you have to have a gimmick and the talk box is mine! Along with the mullet LOL! It takes some discipline to learn the songs as with any cover tune. Its way easier to just play the song your way but I try to capture the feel of the song. Also to add my own flair.

Sounds great.

I have often considered getting one to add something different to the mix.

A bud of mine had on back in the late 70's

He fought with that thing constantly. Surely the technology has improved in 30 years.

Yes the technology has changed. The Banshie is IMO the best one out there the thing is built like a tank. I have been using it for 3 years. At one gig some drunk fat chick fell and landed on it. She dented the damn thing and knocked off on of the little rubber feet. The thing still works like a charm. My advise unless you are doing signature songs that require one or use it in an original you probably be better off getting a wah or flanger. As it is I only use that thing for that one song "Do You Feel Like We Do"

Good advice Jeff, thanks.

I have a wah ... yet to use the damn thing for anything more than a lead boost in the live setting. And as I become more adept at tweaking my volume pot while playing I rarely use it for that.
Probably will eventually break down my board to just the tuner and this really nice Boss wireless. Other than consuming AA batteries for the belt pack it is one of the best " accessory " investments I've made to date.
