My computer is crapped out and I hate using my wife's lap top.
Much going on with the band and the business propositions so I'll be pretty busy.

I'll be back to check in with my friends here before too long till then peace out and rock on my brothers and sisters.

God bless you all

See ya soon

George

P.S.

George, have a great Thanksgiving. I haven't used a computer in almost a year. I'm doing everything on my Sprint Epic phone. I've given up on my computer.

Hey, George! I remember you saying you liked Spalted wood and that maybe it would produced great sound. I remember my reply was more of a negative than positive. That it was soft spots in the wood that may prohibit the wood from having a good "ring" to it. This week, I saw (on t.v.), where The Jews were storing items going to be put in the New House of The Lord. They are making everything to God's specifications. Don't ask me how they know. Anyways, there are harp makers making harps for God's Alter. One of which was featured was made of spalted wood. I do not know the species. If it's good enough for God...

Whew ... this piece of crap actually let me on today surprise surprise.

Thanks for the well wishes.

The Books of Exodus and Leviticus I do believe contain the specs given to Moses, Aron and his sons for the construction of the Temple and all the artifacts there in.

The wood and dimensions are specified but I would imagine the much of translation is rather inaccurate.

Poor fools ... I hope in time they realize the Old Testament ways of reconciliation with the Creator are obsolete.

No matter how beautiful the wood or the sound ... JESUS the final and ultimate sacrifice, is the only way.

I'm not sure how this got into the thread? But I have to respond because, well, that's what I do. Hebrew is a very specific language for those who know it. Yes, the translation is alway inadequate but the original language is full of meaning that escapes the uninitiated. Every word has a 3-letter root and every letter is a picture with a numerical AND a musical value.

The way of salvation is all over the book. To say any part of it is obsolete is to say it's all hooey. Going through the rituals in the Temple saved not even one person, but the deeper significance of every ritual is still true, and will remain true until heaven and earth pass away. We trust in Yeshua's sacrifice only because that concept of cleaning sin through the blood of a sinless Lamb comes from Temple worship. Going through the motions wouldn't do a thing...unless one trusted God to complete the process.

Abraham trusted God and it was counted for him as righteousness. This is how people get saved and it has never changed. Yet He reveals His Name differently to different people.

Now we know Him as Yeshua (Jesus in english) which is the hebrew word for "Salvation"

Occam's razor: all things considered, the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. Take that as you wish.
