Proud Of My Daughter

Yesterday afternoon my daughter sang in a vocal chorale concert. There were kids in this from 75 different schools in the Memphis area.

It is just awesome to hear 200 young people singing in perfect pitch. Made me want my amp and a guitar to play over them.

She had to go thru a pretty tough audition process to get in this. They practiced thursday night for 3 hours, all day friday, and then til lunch on sat to prepare, and prepared they were. My daughter is a soprano, I keep waiting for her to start rockin out. But she may have more of a choral voice than a rocker.

Just wanted to share

Congrats John! Both of my kids tried music and did well but it was not their calling. All you can do is provide the opportunity.

Yeah John, that's pretty cool. This choral group is comparable to our honor's chorus. They perform a concert at the performing arts center then again at Disneyland. Your daughter might just need a little inspiration to rock our...you'll find something.
