Is there a glitch on the system?

I have just tried logging on to my account and it is telling me that my email address or password are invalid, so I tried asking for a new password to be sent and now it is saying that there is no email registered on the server for an account, yet I receive emails from bandmix telling me who has viewed my profile and received one such email this morning!
Any idea what has happened?

YES! There IS a problem with bandmix's software.
.
Bandmix apparently doesn't know about it.
Although they've been told, they seem think it's 'user error.'
But it is not user error: it is bad software code.
.
Here's what you can try.
After you try to (unsucessfully) log-in, click on "My Account."
You may find that your account actually appears, any way.
But - and get this - you're still not signed in, and cannot post!!
Huh??!! You can look at your account - and it STILL thinks you're not signed in?!!
YEP!
CRAPPY SOFTWARE, huh?!
Now,
Make any change in it - even 1 letter - and update it.
Now you're signed in.
This worked for me, it might work for you; might not . . .
I know it makes no sense, but after disqualifying all the logical approaches, I started trying illogical approaches, and - bingo.
.
There are 2 sign-in screens that I know of:
One asks for your profile name, and the other asks for your email.

The one that asks for my profile name DOES NOT WORK (for me, anyway).
.
btw - I've been trying unsuccessfully to post my profile pic to the forum for a couple months, now.
I know how to do it, but - like the sign in process - what used to work will no longer work.
Bandmix - are you listening?

I've noticed that if I don't reboot Windows every once and a while Bandmix starts acting crazy and whining about cookies and Error 400.

I use both XP and Win7 so I reckon it's not OS specific.

Hate to sound like Tech Support but a reboot is often the answer. Windows memory gets corrupted after a while and goes goofy. If that doesn't correct the situation - at least you have eliminated that as a problem.

I have Windows 7 - no problems with any internet site, exdept Bandmix.
But - I have the same problem on my old computer, an XP.
.
I'm usually ok if I can sign in on the screen that asks for my
> email address & password.
The screen that asks for my
> user name & password is screwed up.

Been there before.

Somehow, through clicking a dozen different things, I managed to get back. And I have no idea how that worked. Bandmix is one of the screwiest loading pages that I frequent.

Glen was trouble 6 months ago, I don't
know what's happened lately. Maybe the
doctors are medicating him now, God knows
there's enough of that going around.

I can't believe I've agreed with a lot
of Glen's recent posts. To go see Crip
while he's down, in my book, shows
Glen might just be a caring person in real life.
We all have fake personnas on this site, I mean
at least I.m different when you talk to me i person,
than some of this BS I type in here. :)

Face it we are all just frustrated musicians!

LOL, we gotta vent somewhere on someone, why not here?

I think Glen going to visit Crip was a class act in my book, if I was closer I would love to go by and "borrow" that PRS guitar for a little while, I maybe could keep it warmed up for Crip for when he does get back playing. I couldnt do it justice, but maybe Crips mojo would rub offf on me! LOL

Hey, it looks like they're solving some of the software problems, here.
