So, you put up an ad some weeks ago looking for a band member.
Then you found your band member, or you got tired of looking.
So, UPDATE your profile to NOT SEARCHING.
What is so hard about this?
Maybe BANDMIX administrators could help sort this out?

I'm guessing you locked on to a prospective partner only to discover he/she just got swept up very recently..but wouldn't have known by the BM profile?..
Its never happened to me before But I can only imagine... No...wait... It happened a lot to me when I first signed on ... I thought I was alone ...

Considering the volatility of bands breaking up I'm always open to inquiries, so I'm available if I'm not. It's always good to get names and numbers. You never know when you're going to need them.

I know exactly what you mean. I contacted one guy and he told me that he had just met up with this band, so I wished him luck. Then about a month or so later, I saw that he was "currently seeking musicians/bands", so I thought, maybe it didn't work out and he left that group. Great! He was exactly what we were looking for. So, I sent him a message, and the reply I got was pretty much, "Nope, the group I'm in is extremely busy, but good luck". So I mentioned to him that he should change that part on his profile so that me and others like me don't keep messaging him.
