What an Entrepreneur, what a person. He has enriched all of us with his genius. He has touched more lives than any of our presidents, and even the Beatles and Jimi. What a Rock Star. :(

The news heads all day have been spewing " breaking news " about Mr Jobs

He's dead, end of the line, nothing " breaking " about being dead once it's been said once ... hope he knew Jesus.

Comparing Steve Jobs to the Beatles..?? NO COMPARISON! The Beatles started a complete social revolution, world-wide that changed the face of Music, and entertainment and Culture .

Steve Jobs made really cool IPods that let you down load Beatles music if you want. And no he never touched my life. I have never owned an apple product of any sort.

Never the less I respect him for the maniac he was .. A true visionary...who's product was too proprietary to ever get the leverage it needed. Had he not been so stingy with his technology, he would have smoked Bill Gates...

Indeed we lost a great man... but he aint the Beatles.

Apparently not.
The Phelps family of the Westboro Baptist Church are planning to picket at his funeral.

What a load of BS Glenny. He was no rock star, and he sure couldn't be compared to the legends you just abused. He was a visionary and great inventor but he was also an abrasive, hard to work with college drop out who died very rich and too young. The things he invented are great but would have been developed by someone else if not him, so give it a rest.

Nah, not jealous, I don't need 8.4 billion if I'm dead. Sure he made some cool stuff along with all that money but to say he touched our lives more than any president or the Beatles or Hendrix? Hogwash.

I just said that Jimmy because there was a lot of negetivity in your response there! College drop out hard to work with someone else would of come up with the gadgets. Everyone is not college material. That doesn't make them less than you Jimmy. I work at a college and let me tell you there are some ignorant PHD's out there! Why not dwell on the positives in the poor guy's life show some respect Take The High Road! How many of his gadgets do you own Jimmy?

None. Zero. Zip. Nada. Never had an "i" anything. But the music I record was done on a Mac (my engineer's, not mine).

I definitely respect the guy's accomplishments but that does not make him a saint. There is a tendency to over-inflate people after they pass on, but it's usually to sell more magazines or widgets or whatever.

I am not saying he was a saint no man is that! He put his pants on one leg at a time just like you and me. I am sure he had many imperfections as we all do! There are many of his gadgets in our house. I don't know how to use half of them but they are there LOL!

PD,
Apple became more profitable and more valuable than Microsoft.
Maybe not a revolution but definitely pioneer.
