When the Lions drafted Calvin Johnson, Matt Stafford and Ndomecong Suh I knew they were finally serious about winning. I think Suh is the best defensive player to come into the NFL since Lawrence Taylor. It's fun to see a team down for decades rise up and win. The big tests will be the two games against the Packers. They are a load, especially on offense.
I"m not crazy about the Tigers. Verlander is arguably the best pitcher in baseball and Cabrerra might be the best hitter in baseball, but after that I'm not sure they have enough depth to win the World Series. I would love to see Detroit win it since the Royals are in the same division. Speaking of the Royals if they can get just two front-line starting pitchers, LOOK OUT. The three sensational rookies they brought up (Hosmer 1B, Perez C, Mouastakos 3B) added to their spectacular outfield and dazzling shortstop present a formidable offense and easily the best fielding team in the majors. Things are finally looking up for KC baseball.

Professional sports are all rigged.
You cannot place bets on an honest game.

The Lions are 33-36-2 on Thanksgiving Day, not great but not horrible either.
Thursday the Tigers return to New York to finish the Yankees off.

Most of those games the Lions won were before I was born. I've always given them credit. They have always been a "small money team" but they always play with a "LIONS HEART"
As a kid I loved the Tigers just because of their name and the logo on the TOPPS trading cards,,,,, I guess we will see tomorrow night.
