Some places do they stop serving alcohol at 2:am bar time. Usually the places that do that don't have bands its mostly Raves and rap clubs. As it is the places I am playing are an hour away. After a gig and eating when I get home from a gig I am lucky to get in bed by 4:00am

I am not aware of any clubs that do that anymore! There maybe some not in the Houston Area like Austin or Dallas that do. I haven't heard of them!

Beaumont is pretty close about 80 or 90 miles east of Houston toward Louisiana.

LOL I was drinking last night! We have been in a near apocolyptic drought here breaking all kinds of heat records here. Finally we got a cool front come through and last weekend was just beautiful and I finally got a weekend off from gigging so Sat. and Sun. were my drinking days LOL! Its back to the daily grind for me. No drinking till next Sunday!

Blues Edge, I listened to the rest of your tunes I like them! I see that you opened for Head East those guys get around. We opened for them in 1996 the drummer they had at the time was REALLY GOOD he wasn't the original drummer. However the original drummer was there. At the time he taught at the Art Institue of Houston. He sat in on a couple of tunes we got him to autograph our Flat As A Pancake cd too. Those guy's are really down to earth they came over and told us how much they enjoyed our music and thanked us!

yea i think when I opened for them the only original members were the keyboard & gtr players. not sure about the drummer but the 2nd gtr & bass were not original members. glad you liked em wasnt going to put the instrumentals on but I figured what the heck ( thats stuff I do for myself with the drum mch )
