Possible new band concept for us: Bass, guitar, sax, and TWO drummers. However each drummer also plays another instrument (harmonica and guitar). So we can have a repertoire with about 1/3 Allman Brothers style tunes (2 drummers), 1/3 harmonica and sax featured tunes, and 1/3 featuring two guitarists. I aso know a sax player who can play keyboards. Just think if one or both guitarists utilizes one of those sampler devices with hundreds of different instrument choices. We literally could have a five man symphony....

that sounds like a nice diverse instrumentation, Bob. If the sax player doubles on flute, as many do, tell him to bring that too.

Percussion can make or break a sound.

Wished those Mexicans that played following us yesterday would figure that out.

And singing in KEY ... would help them too...

That's good to know.

I'd hate to think I was the only one nauseated that day.

Actually the first two groups sang beautifully. I tapped my foot and bobbed my head even though I could not understand a word they said.

That Last group we heard ... sucked.

Check The Mars Volta for mexicans that really have that rythym thing under control - they're wacky but holy cow are they good.
