Musician Forum - Band Discussion Board - BandMix

Hello my bandmix brothers and sisters. I have been very busy lately which has keot me scarce on the forums. But, I have something big that I want to share with you. I was invited to perform in an alumni recital. The best part is the participants can play whatever the h*ll they want. Yep, I would love to play some bach or Debussy but since I have a choice to play whatever d*mn thing I want, I want to play Coffee Break and some Jimi Hendrix's "Third Stone From The Sun". So both pieces will be played Saturday night around 9:00 Pacific time...woo hoo. Not only will I be playing these great pieces, I am playing it them with super incredibly great musicians. I wish y'all could be here.

Ya know these log distance relationships kind suck some times.

I do plan to record this. My son will be there and he will probably do that for me. I also think that the college will record it too.
