I find it pretty fricken hilarious when...

I see someone checked out my profile. I click on their picture that takes me to their profile and *gasp* it's (usually) a dude. A young one (or chick). They have no music on their profile, no videos, no links to a site with a sample of their "talent". Hmmmm. What's this? Oh, everyone on their music list is of the opposite sex. Click on one of their pics to go to their profile. Oh, no music either. But they sure have a lot of slutty pics up....niiiiiiice. If this describes you, I can tell you right now. BUG OFF!

I never noticed that before. I have 10 local members on my profile page and not one of them have music up. Go figure

I tend to check out any profile in my neck of the woods. I also check out any with whom I've swapped comments on the forums.

Is there something wrong with having an appreciation for beauty ?
It's a free service, it's a public service, there are no parameters for a " free " membership.
How could one expect there not to be a high percentage of posers ?

celtic, that was not my intention. was just venting. I don't mind people viewing my profile, but I'm hoping it's to check out my voice and give me pointers. and I enjoy looking at other profiles and doing the same.

I just checked out your vids, nice cover of adele. You've got a good voice keep looking you should be able to find a gig.
I've done random searches or views just out of pure boredom from time to time. I've even dropped a line here and there to wish others well. It is a public and social forum. I haven't been told to BUG OFF...yet

See, I don't mind sex, drugs, and rock n' roll. I understand. I guess it just bothers me when the younger generation does it because I feel like they're just in it for the sex and drugs. When I was single, I had an older, male friend who said I was his muse. That didn't bother me because I understand that music is passion and passion is music. For people who are really passionate about it. I don't know how to explain it. There's just a difference to me between the one guy in particular I was venting about and the lot of you. Everyone who has posted here has talent and experience and knows how to balance being serious and being funny.
