Blue Lamp Cover..

Getting some pressure to do a cover of this tune.. (without a female singer)(probably do it an octave lower)

I always liked the HEAVY METAL soundtrack, but most of the tunes I consider to be fairly incorrect for one reason or another..

(There are some exceptions, but I won't go into that unless someone else wants to discuss them)

If you want to give it a listen, the link is below.

Note: I am not a S. Nicks fan but I thought this tune is interesting enough to cover..and inject some originality.

What do you think?

I looooved that movie when it came out, and of course, I had the album. Yeah, to update the sound more, I'd find a better drummer to make the drumbeat choppier (sorry about my lame techy terms), but this will inject a more dynamic feel to the song and it could sound like it's from Pink Floyd vs. Stevie Nicks. There's plenty of room to play here.

I don't mind how you speak about anything, vague or otherwise.

Spit it out, if I need more clarification I'll ask.

Thanx for your idea(s), Chaeya !

Lemme see if I can get this onto a recording and I'll post it if I can stand it after initial recording.

Great song. I am a huge Stevie Nicks fan. I saw her with Boz Scags back in 1999 or 2000. She had just dropped the weight she did this song the lights shined up from behind her and she was in that silk dress very SEXY still!
Got a littler carried away there LOL! cool idea Capt.
Chaeya I think you meant staccato.

No ... I don't feel it's a " bad " tune . Just not my favorite on the sound track.

I always liked QUEEN BEE and WORKIN ... so it's pretty subjective I suppose.
