...but are you gaining any marketing traction/PR/sales/gigs with the recent release of your excellent Cd?

To be honest Bob, not really. You have to remember this was actually our 6th recording in 12 years; most of the initial excitement the band generated has long ago cooled off. Sure we still have our hardcore fans but expanding that beyond our region will be difficult, since we don't tour. But the bottom line is we don't really care, we just do it for our own amusement, anything else is a bonus.

But you can tour the world without physically touring. It's up to you, but if I had a CD that good I'd be putting it on as many free internet sites as possible. I'd also definitely market it on Jango. I believe you could stay right in your area and gradually build up a small, but hardcore group of fans all over the world.

All very true Bob, but you have to play live in front of a lot of different people to really accomplish what you're suggesting. The next best thing is video; without a substantial YouTube presence you're pretty much doomed if you want to take it to the next level. Our next project is to get a DVD together, we have tons of footage spanning 12+ years. Most of who we are is our stage show; you can't really get the whole Farley experience just listening to the tunes.

I have no delusions of grandeur. But your recent CD is worth putting out to the world. Perhaps combining it with a video would be the way to go. It's too good to keep to yourself.

Agreed Jimmy.

I also agree whole heart-idly with Bob.

I think Video is the way to go.

That's why we are working so hard to develop a video series for ourselves.

A combo CD / DVD package utilizing the same studio recordings would be great PR.
