My old band is back together. Adding some VERY challenging covers. (Orders from a higher authority). Nothing To Nobody (Robben Ford), 20 Years of BB King (Curtis Salgado) to name a few. Going to throw them in our disc golf gig setlist August 20 (Lion's Den Open). I think this is our fourth year performing there. They've expanded it to three bands. We play 2 to 4. We sound great with saxophone (Michael Lefever). Energy is up. It's all about energy.

I love a good sax player post some video of the gig if you get a chance.
I set in with some jazz players a couple of weeks ago. Played Europa with them, there was some really cool call and answer licks going back and forth between the Sax player and me. That was probably the best version of Europa I have played yet!

Cool Bob, sax can add a whole dimension to the sound.

J, I didn't know you covered "Europa", I've played that one for years. Did you ever hear my recording of it? Maybe I'll post it later.

I am known around the lake here (Clear Lake) as the Santana guy. I know most of his songs pretty much note for note. However they are great songs to change up a bit and have fun with! Post it when you get a chance I would like to hear it!

Instead of a keyboard I used an acoustic guitar, gives it a slightly different feel. Santana is one of my major influences too.
