Everything about him is MAGICAL! How did he come up with an idea of 27 stringed instrument? Why not 26? or 30? How did he figure out how to play it so beautifully? How did he build it? The song was mesmerizing to say the least and he's using a part of his brain that most don't use... Very creative and un-freakin'-believable!

Very cool! I dig unusual instruments. A guy I grew up with has become fairly well known in Hawaii playing the Chapman Stick... another unusual and beautiful stringed instrument.

Simply beautiful, I wouldn’t call it 27 string guitar to me it’s more like a guitar with Harps added much like Michael Hedges including the techniques used to play this piece.

Michael Hedges is one of the pioneers of slap guitar playing for those not familiar with the late Michael Hedges here is a link skip to minutes 3 to listen to the beginning of the song.

HARP + GUITAR. (PS: is he a vampire with those long finger nails>?)

God I hate these spam bots that comment vapidly on every subject.

It's like Glen without personality..trying to sell us hemorrhoid cream for our ass.

May as well just call this "Preparation Bandmix"..

Loved this!
I agree it's more like a harp combined with a conventional guitar. Bass + Top strings add the "knowns", then the guitar skill adds the rest.
Nice to see someone inventive, though I would think in our voice enhanced and computer driven age. Some (ugh), might find composition that just a tad non argumentative musically.

It would be nice just to hear THAT instrument too. A harp after all, is a harp. This is a combo and studios make up for a lot of distance.

Nice
Best post this year in fact.
