First the debt ceiling crisis "fix" didn't fix it. Our debt will go up about the same as the amount of programs we're cutting. The stock market plummeting is a realistic reaction to this "fix." We're going to have to make dramatic changes. I'm afraid the Dems and Repubs are both outdated at this point. They both need to be relegated into the dustbin of history.[/i]

I don't feel the problem is rooted in the two party system.
But rather a well orchestrated plot to destroy America and her constitution.
We the armed people of the USA are the only major road block to world governance / subjugation.
She ( the USA ) and her constitution must fall before global dominance can be achieved.
Read Mao's directions for undermining a nation.
Destruction of economy is a primary goal so the cell phone fascinated sheeple will fall in goose step to all government mandates.

Our founding father made it quite clear what needed to be done to restore & maintain justice and constitutional government.
But our society as a whole has grown too weak and decadent to take the necessary risk.

Why else would the NWO crowd want to keep our military men and women divided and cast round the globe.
They know that if they brought them home the purge would begin and set the globalist agenda back 1000 years.

Government controls media.
Government controls trade.
Government controls energy.
Government controls transportation.
Government controls finance.
Government controls medical.
Government controls manufacture.
Government controls agriculture.
( they are already attempting to make it a felony to grow your own foods. Americans are being fined and jailed for doing so)

I could belabor the point further but it's not necessary.
Those whom have eyes to see, will.
Those whom have made mammon their deity never will.

Good post Sans.

By the way, how are your 401K's and other retirement plans going you hope and changey supporters? How is your job market treating you these days? Do you enjoy having the dollar in your wallet and bank account depreciate by leaps and bounds as play money is being printed with YOUR hard earned money being the only thing backing it? Do you enjoy seeing it go to foreign banks and bailing out government cronie businesses and union supporters who contribute directly to the election of these scoundrels?

Printing money amounts to illegal taxation. Just how much has that taken from every dollar you have saved and earned? Have you noticed how your dollars are increasingly less every time you purchase groceries, or gas, or anything else? Noticed how the stores are dropping some products from the shelves? Noticed how they are telling you what to eat, and if your kids are too fat, and what kind of lights you have to use? Noticed how these people are going against the constitution, the the courts and against the will of those who elected them? How long before your future savings won't be worth the paper that holds the ink? Are you still so clueless that you are blaming everyone other than the ones who are doing this to you? I bet that some of you are.

Evidently some of you misunderstood the hope to change society and our present form of government and the promise to change history. It was all out in the open during the campaign. They are simply keeping their word for once.

I'm not bitter. How about you? There is a recent book release called "Full Black" who's author worked on the inside of the government. It is sold as a fiction book, but it isn't fiction. It not only tells you what has been going on, what is going on, and what is coming down the road. Anyone who likes to read should read it. For the rest, who love the way this country is going, perhaps it will come out in picture story book form, complete with crayons. :)

Good post guys. Unfortunately most of the people here are already in chains, so it really is just a breath exhaled in a hurricane.

The more they look to big government to help them achieve the more they bitch, when they look at what they don't have, and will never ever be able to achieve.

THANK GOD FOR GUNS. Go ahead laugh    !

Probably the only thing that has stopped total outright collapse and takeover of my country.

F'N pesky 2nd amendment. :)

I was in Rhodesia towards the end, when resources were exhausted and the country was falling. This had been a grand little country - freeist I'd ever been for sure. but now nothing worked. Everything was deteriorating at an accelerating pace. People were bailing.

Once the richest nation in Africa and grainary for the other nations of the southern end of Africa.

Then it become Zimbabwe with police and military oppression, North Korean 'security advisors,' armed gangs of thugs pretending to be 'war veterans' and demanding loot; and of course, rich rewards for the new govt leaders. Mugbe dealt with his black rivals first, then turned his guns on white farmers. it rapidly went down hill with massive, Weimar-esque inflation, starvation and epidemic.

I'm seeing it again like a bad move. Aren't the good guys supposed to win?

And this time I've got no where to go home to. It's assumed Biblical proportions. Land of the free? Not hardly. I'm under no illusions about turning it around but I hope we can.

Don't worry Mike.
The question that needs to be asked is why are so many focused on making the wealthy, poor.
Instead the focus should be, how do we make the poor wealthy?

Wealthy people LOVE more wealthy people. It means that everyone is doing well. Instead we have a government that is setting up a class warfare situation.

51% of all resident taxpayers pay nothing in federal taxes. Oh yeah, I say the government is so deep in passed on down the line taxes that even the weakest and poorest are getting clobbered by these taxes. Gasoline was trading at @2.75 on nymex friday. Add another 35 cents for retail and then tell me how much you don't think you are paying in taxes. :)

Sans is probably closer to calling it. This isn't even about money. This is about controlling your very existence. This is about POWER. Wake up.

NO, I'm not paranoid, I'm just not blind. :)

Sorry for such a non musical post, but my "garage band" friends are ready for a major show, if they would just let me snip the power chord on the other guitarists amp. Even picked up a keyboard player that can actually solo in a creative way. We can now do a 6 hour version of 'FREEBIRD'

Glen

I actually played with a guy I considered the cream of keyboard. Had done symphony stuff as a child prodigy. Could truly wail on any keyboard and make a synthisizer sing. Very cool guy as well. We played together in a piano bar and later a rock band.

We sat in one night in a black nightclub in Atlanta and Jeff had those folks digging it. One of those nights you remember. My brother had forgotten his guitar was tuned for slide in open A and had to make do - he did too.

Jeff had a problem though. Small guy, no fighting skills. Two drinks - wants to fight. <sigh> He kicked a potential backer in the knee one night just because the guy was annoying him...

Name was Jeff Stivers. i really liked that guy but don't know where he is now.
