Solo

There was some good stuff in there. It all sounded in key with itself. There was a lot of 16th and triplet type feels in there and not a lot of melody. It also seemed repetitious after 30 seconds into the solo.

I think what you did was executed well, but lacked in form. There needed to be some underlaying melody, or a way to justify a chord reference (internally if you get what I mean).

Picking was well executed. Your major to Dorian type pentatonics (Pentatonics based off of the 2nd interval of the major, eg. Bm Pentatonic in key of A) was on. Taps were there. Ran the solo up the two bottom strings in major.

But like I said there was no melody. You started out with a good chord riff/progression, but when the solo came in, that was all out the window. As if it had no relation.

Sorry about that. A lot of heart and feeling is in music, but you can't overlook the brain or thinking that goes in it as well. Music should have some of each in it.

You're doing a great job. Post more, when you can!
