I could see how the initial assumption was Islamic terrorists, but the MO was not consistent... Islamic terrorists generally don't target children arbitrarily, and if they do , the political context is almost immediately obvious.. . Usually the mass murder is followed with a suicide by cop, or by bomb. This guy wanted t be caught, and he wants the glory.. In short , he is an evil whack job that slipped through the cracks. He might try to used political cause in his confessions, but he's really a lone rogue.

I'm a christian... And If I ever decide to go extremist, I'll find that red button and push it... (I wont waste my time with petty, inefficient acts of murder... )

It's NOT funny that an act of terror would be initially blamed on anybody. There have been just a few acts of terror commited by "Islamist" terrorists lately. In Norway quite recently there have been problems with a "Muslim" cleric who actually threatened violence against Norway. So it"s quite logical to assume that a radical "Islamist" was to blame. ANYBODY who commits an atrocity in the name of a religion does NOT practice that religion. Crusaders in the Midle Ages (and today) are NOT Christians. The "Islamist" terrorists we are at war with are NOT Muslims. They are both bastardizing and misinterpreting great world religions. I also believe they are both members of a CULT. The followers of Charles Manson were a cult. Nazis are members of a cult. Al Qaida is a cult. This killer in Norway wasn't a Christian. Bin Laden wasn't a Muslim. Hitler wasn't a Christian. Name calling in this case doesn't do anybody any good. People who honestly BELIEVE any great religion and follow its peaceful teachings can respectfully be called Christian, Muslim, Hindu etc. People who commit violence and/or forcefully shove their beliefs down the throats of non-believers are members of a cult. Jesus was NOT the leader of a cult. Neither was Mohammed. Or Ghandi. Just wanted to clear that up for the name-callers on here...

No, the event wasn't funny at all, but our eagerness to point our fingers, is, to me.

It's a typical American attitude, though - assume first, & figure out the details, later...&, sometimes, we even jump first, like we did in Iraq.

We expect it from our news media & our leaders - if something happens, why the hell weren't you THERE, taking notes & reporting, or acting on it in some way? Only stupid ppl demand that. I don't think we're very smart...

And I'm not surprised at all by the assumptions of the press.
They have no integrity and the have no one to answer to for it ... yet.
