What heatwave?

They are saying this is a bad heatwave. Temps near 100 and high dewpoints is bad but historically this is cool compared to some other years: 1934, 1936, 1954, 1980. Here in KC we've been high 90's to just about 100. That's only ten degrees above average. Just typical Summer heat IMO. Some people are saying this is another example of global warming. The last two Winters in KC were the worst since I lived here (1987). More snow and prolonged below freezing temperatures. KC weather, hot in Summer, cold in Winter, perfect Fall weather, turbulent Spring storms, nothing different from my viewpoint....

I'm in Sacramento next week... (Biz trip) and My Boss, whom I rarely see ...has been notified that he owes me a shit-load of beer and steak for helping bail him out of a sling... (Its what we coders do...)
Anyway, for sake of general Proximity, I'll drink one for ya!

We are running over 100 daily. But what the hell this
is East Texas.
Best I remember it's always been this way.
Could sure use on of those 99 degree cool fronts for our up coming show July 30th.
I sweat like a beotch all over my LP.

Watch out for the elderly. Check up on that older neighbor.
Drink plenty of water and get NAKED in the shade. You might make a lot of new friends.
Oh , WINTER IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

Been so hot the candles I have been collecting for a video, kept in my shop, have melted bent and fell over.

Been so hot I saw a dog chasing a cat, and they were both walking.

I must be getting old. I just can't post my favorite 'hot' metaphor but suffice to say it involves foxes and forest firres...<sigh>
