Damn that's ugly.

We cannot have energy or for that matter manufacture anything without waste products / pollution.

I cannot help but laugh at the green geeks and there coal ( electric ) fired cars.
The simple truth is they pollute more than a well constructed and maintain internal combustion.

One day perhaps the technology will improve to be able to utilize solar radiation efficiently.

The rest of these so called green or renewable energy sources ...

There will come a day that everyone's children will wonder why we didn't do something when we could have. It's only money after all, we SPEND ZILLIONS on Bio-chemistry.
Yet none of us can stop smoking despite the restrictions on personal habit.

Cheers,

Chipfryer.

The fastest way to shut the green geeks down is to challenge them to sell and get rid of their cars..., and live in a tent (with no showers) They suddenly shaddup...

You know, I enjoyed living in cities where I didn't need a car. When I lived in London and Europe, I didn't have a car because their wonderful transportation system was available. If the US would stop being public transportation snobs, we could get an efficient something (I don't f**k know what - electric, hydrogen, solar, farts) then people would walk more and buy less cars. Less cars, less pollution. No car insurance, no registration and stuff, don't have to worry about it. I ask people about catching the bus and their nose wrinkles up.

Oh well.

My .02

People were never intended to live like this to start with.

Certainly not like in the evil big city ( line from a Jackie Chan movie, inside joke not a condemnation of city dwellers )

We were not intended to live stacked like cord wood drinking each others sh*t water so what's the big deal with burning hydrocarbons ?

It is what it is till it's not.
