I updated a new song today, tell me what you think.
and also check me out on facebook, twitter, reverbnation, there are a few more songs there as well.

"I want to be a witness" is the only song to be heard on your site.
This song in my opinion is very middle of the road melodicly and
lyricly. Nothing that grabs you and gets your attention. Nothing
out of the box.

You should try what I tell others and that is to bring your writing to
a place that is a little uncomfortable and force yourself to finish something there.
You can not write Good and Interesting music standing in the same place
all the time. Think out of the box and maybe write from someone elses viewpoint
on a subject. That should get you going.[/b]

Not into Christian praise the lord kind of music. So i may not be the best to critique what you're doing. To each their own.
The music was very simple and folksy... like that, but kind of like Klugmo said step outside somewhere in it. The lyrics didn't interest me so i looked for something musically but it's just pretty straight forward.
A really great vocalist can rise above simple musical lines and turn them into something greater. Some of the greatest songs are also the simplest songs it's just the vocalist gives it that "it factor".
Maybe a change in tempo or modulate to another key.
