The Tubes will perform right down the street from me on July 9 with the Gin Blossoms. White dopes on punk!

All kidding aside Jimmy, that song is one of the most dynamic I've ever heard anyone do. Tubes - Yeah!

When AC/DC came out with High voltage, I was hooked. At that time I ran out and bought the album and soon followed with Highway to Hell. They were an extremely new sound, (at least here in the U.S.) and against the sounds of the day of Hard Rock, they were Probably considered to be Punk and not hard rock as we knew it such as Deep Purple. As time went on and AC/DC became more mainstream, especially after the death of Bon Scott, They were recognized as hard rock, evidently to their approval and the song "Hard as a Rock". It was years later before anyone I had introduced AC/DC music to would acknowledge their then liking of the bands music. It may not be a very Chritian band or very Christian of me to have listened or enjoyed. Sue me. As your topic implies, were you Punk before 1975?

The Tubes played a bar called "The Piccadilly Tube" up here in Toronto when WPOD was new on the radio, and their stage show was rude, raunchy, and riské. Toronto's finest shut "Quay" and the boys down before the first set was done!
