A few opportunities to hear us LIVE...
On June 10 and 12 there will be a few opportunities to catch live on radio and a live web feed. I'll let everybody know the approximate hour and what radio and web addresses to catch us on...

Jahva wrote:Is this part of the Battle of the Bands you're involved in?Not part of the Battle which occurs July 3. We're also playing a big festival July 2. There might be some live coverage of those events as well. I'm sure we'll get some Youtube vids out of it. No, the June 10 and 12 deals are about us playing at the Kansas City Wide Open disc golf tournament. It's a national tour event this year. Promo strategy is just being formulated now. This could be a BIG deal for us. Bigger than I would have imagined. Oh and I forgot there's another festival we're playing June 26? I believe that's a little more laid back afair. We'll have a sub drummer for that one. Got another disc golf event in late August. I've been performing there for 3-4 years now. Tomorrow evening we're going to a pro studio to record 3-4 tunes. After that we're adding a website (Bandvista maybe) and then if the studio work is exceptional (it will be) then we're going to perhaps test market on the Web. Another interesting angle to the disc golf is maybe, just maybe writing a theme song for their website. This is all just speculation but I have a feeling that it will result in very nice PR for Alexander and the Greats. Our focus will be Battles, International Blues Contest, festivals, etc. If we can get a few bar gigs that's okay but I very much prefer the festivals and the associated promo opportunities they present...We'll be performing MANY festivals in the next four years...
Will definetly give a listen when the time comes.

Sounds like your pots cooking. Good for you man.
Ourstage.com has a Blues category. If you haven't already, it might be worth checking out to add to your band sites. It's partnered with MTV. They have monthly competitions and you can win $$$.
There are some really good bands on that site. Just a thought.
