Finally got the act back up and running again...This was taken by a cell phone, so not the greatest quality, but not too bad (except where I forget what key the slide solo is in for a second  )

Thnx all...Hopefully next gig we can get a better recording...you can't tell from this, but that snare drum is like a kick in the chest every time he smacks it!

A snare has a way of really cutting through the mix.
We had to reposition our snare mic and cut way back on the gain.

Sounds good to me!

What amp did you wind up using in this video? Just curious, cause I think you had a thread about it a few monthes ago.

Keep On Rockin Man!

I bought a Whirlwind selector box, so I'm switching back and forth from my Supro 88T for dirty, and my Silvertone 1474 for clean. Both amps are mic'ed through the P.A. This tune is the Supro with an MXR Micro amp (clean boost) set at around 1 O'clock on the gain to give the amp inputs a bit of a goose.

Thnx JW...I do try to dial a basic good amp tone in before I even bother with the pedal board, but once the amps are happening I like lots of toys on the floor to be able to get all of the sounds off the oldies we cover pretty close to the record. I'm in the process of redoing my pedal board...wait till you see this thing...FRANKENBOARD!

Once you get FRANKENBOARD done please post a picture and list of the effects!

I gets board envy looking at other peoples boards! LOL

Will do. It will basically be all the boxes on the one pictured here plus four additional ones.... An Whirlwind A/B switch for amp selection, Boss Metal Zone, Boss OC-3 Super Octave, and an ISP Decimator noise gate. Just waiting for a full set of Dimarzio jumper cables to arrive to replace the el cheapo thin gauge rubber ones I'm using now

I've got this idea being as I'm guitar & sound man.
I want to get me an A/B AB foot switch. to feed my amp into two of the PA inputs one set to pan full right the other left.

That way I can swap which side of the stage my leads come from.

Couple of tunes I could call/respond my own leads.
And go back center for the rhythms.

What ya think ... could that work ?
