I have a place on my website full of various rants I've written over the years about being in bands. I wasn't going to make a point of sharing this one, but a couple of conversations I've had with prospective band members made me believe that it might actually be a good idea after all.
I use these rants to weed out musicians with attitudes about music and bands that I know will not work out. The "artistes" are frankly offended by most of what I have to say and that's really okay with me.
