I stand in awe ...
A new song materializes out of thin air ... Ray's right there with the lyrics ...
God is good ... I am blessed way beyond my deserve.

I had such a crappy day at work ... rehearsal was a renewal for my spirit.

Ain't it funny how that works? I actually un-sold out because a song called "Encore" literally dropped out of my head into my word processor and when I read the lyrics I got the hint.

Most of us could sit down and write a forumulaic song I'm sure but it's the ones that "magically" appear that really satisfy.

The last one that occurred like this was UNDER THE SPOUT

Last night's tune differentiated because with SPOUT as we call it.
There were preexisting lyrics from a tune we had scrapped because it just did not work.
The song last night was 100% spontaneous.

Fortunately Ray was filming for practice / lighting test footage.
So we have a record of sorts to refer back too.
