Got wind of a very fine blues singer/guitarist songwriter in Topeka. Bit of a haul for me (75 miles) but if we can meet halfway (Lawrence Ks.) it might be a doable situation. I love playing with the young phenom but another gig right now wouldn't hurt me as my day businesses are both VERY slow right now. The best thing about this guy in Topeka is that he performs about 80% originals and WANTS to put together a CD. It would be way cool and about time to be on a few CD's for sale. It's been my goal for a few years.

I see it as a good thing just as long as it doesen't cause any problems with your current line-up.

You've got the talent. If you have the time to do both projects justice ... why not?

The possibilities for vocals are OFF THE CHART. I just got the word from a harmonica/lead singer I played with in a band for years. There's NO END to the original tunes with vocal POWER we could put out to the world. Kind of makes my head spin just thinking about it...
