We have been asked to play a Cancer benefit. Apparently some kind of "walk - a - thon"

They want us to play at 03:30 :shock:

I may be too old for this one guys ... :cry:

I cannot even imagine trying to play guitar at 3am.

Uh, me either. I wouldn't even be walking at 3:30 a.m. Are you sure that's a.m. or did somebody lose their bleedin' mind?

I was not the member in direct contact.
But , yes the message I got was specific 03:30 ...

I think it may be one of those all night walk / vigil thingys.

I don't know if I can turn down a gig ... but OMG !!

And it's a good hour drive one way, + set up & tear down.

Honestly ... I don't know if I am physically up to that kind of stress.

Get the day off, take a long nap, load up ahead of time and you're good to go. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Well, if you decide to do it, you'd be better off just staying up all night and going to the gig then come home and sleep afterwards. That's the only way I could do it.

WOW! Most gigs I play end up going waaay past 3:30 AM!

This Friday, my band was specifically asked by the owner of a real nice night club to be the band for the evening for HIS own B/day party! The place is gonna be packed and rest assured, I'm not leaving there till at least 4:30AM!!
