This post is for the veteran players who have been performing for many years. Which songs have you been playing for many years that invariably get the crowd going? I'm talking about tunes you open a show with, finish or start a set with, finish the show with. What songs seem to always work? Doesn't matter whether they are covers or originals, what songs are the ones that work just about anywhere for any crowd? Very interested in your input (as always)...

Vertigo works great for an opener! Still Got The Blues works great. I would say that it depends on your genre and the area in which you want to play! Do you want the people to dance? In which way do you want them to dance? Reggea? Disco? Country? Classic Rock? Jazz?

The songs that work great down here are hands down!
1) Lets Groove Tonight
2) Get Down On It
3) Play That Funky Music
4) Long Train Running
5) Get Down Tonight
6) Shake your Booty
7) We Are Family
8) Faithfully
9) I Love Rock & Roll
10) Roller Coaster
11) Love Shack
12) Sweet Child O Mine
13) Mustang Sally
14) Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye
15) Love Of A Lifetime
16) Once Bitten Twice Shy Baby
17) Bad Day
18) Margaritaville
19) Sweet Home Alabama
