It's been a while since I've been on here, hows everybody doing?

I have a new tune up in my profile if anybody wants to check it out.

I'm hoping I can maybe find a guitar or keyboard player who might share a similar style of play and who might want to collaborate a bit just for fun. My guitar and keyboard playing is marginal at best LOL. 8)

Hey man....

checked it out. Sounds nice. I would love have a bass player in our band with that kind of creativity.

as far as the limited ability thing on the other instruments: 1. Sounded good to me. 2. I have the same problem with my stuff, I'm a pinao player/vocalist with limited ability on the other instruments. If you listen to the stuff I have posted... you'll say... "he's not really a guitar player..is he...hmmmm. " But... I did the best I could.

I would like to hear more of your stuff... do you ever put up anything else here? or do you have another site where you post at? I've always found that most music created by bass players or drummers is so much more unique and fun to listen to than most others.... (no offense to anyone) ie.... your new post.

Enjoyed it..thanks.

Wow, thanks a lot. Sorry about not replying sooner. When nobody replied to my post for over a week I kinda forgot about it.

I liked your stuff a lot, good songs.

I have a few other tunes but I was really dissatisfied with my mixes, they all sounded pretty muddy. So I talked with some guys at another forum and read some articles and a book they recommended. I learned a lot from it. Smoke & Mirrors was the first try at remixing and while still pretty amateur it sounds 100% better than it did before. I'll post more when I get them mixed a little better. :D

Gotcha....

I've always had a tuff time mixing and mastering. I finally went and bought a Boss BR1200CD. All the stuff you hear that I've posted was done onthat little machine right here in my house....except for "Reach For You" .. that was actually at a legitamite studio.

anyways... that Boss... man that thing kicks ass. It has a section built in it called Mastering Tools. As you... I read some material..... but the different Mastering selections are tremendous... I dont know what you record you tunes on... but man if you got the extra cash... the BR1200CD is well worth it. It has a built in 60 gig hard drive... burns everthing right to cd... dry....mixed...mastered...unmastered...how ever you want to work it... you can save it on the hard disk or dump it thru USB to your computer. It has more ins and outs than a dozen pimps and whores... :D

I've found that alot of guys use their pc's to record but I've never had good luck going that route.. I'm just not a computer guy..... so I couldn't even begin to offer a suggestion on that route. Anyways... thats my bag of tricks I'm using tight now.,

Thanks for the reply and the good word on the music. I really appreciate that. If you ever get on my space.... go to www.myspace.com/2Bitter2BSweet

see ya there !!! Peace. Michael Evans
