I had a thought cookin' once, but had to put it on the back burner...the one that doesn't work...

I thought life was gonna be better than this when I was 19. I thought the adults
had it under control. I thought government was for the people.
I thought retirement would be something to look forward to. I thought
morals and manors were something that everyone was taught. I thought
the value of human life was sacred. I thought music wasn't about money.
I thought my Mother would always be around. I thought when I fell in

In the animal world, the Disabled, Unfortunate, Weak and Victims are the first eaten. News flash: we're animals. Yes I've been hardened by life, and mercy is not usually mine to sprinkle around like fairy dust. I take care of mine and those I love, but that pretty much drains my resources.

Common sence should keep that from happening. I am talking

Of course, I've avoided many more animals than I've hit, yet I've also run over many and had no choice in the matter. A good person does the right thing when they have that option, but many things in life are not in your control. The trick is to roll with the changes and not get stuck in the trough of the wave.

Is there a point to this thread besides bumming us out? Unless you live a REALLY sheltered life, I think it is obvious LIFE IS HARD. Ok, so let's move on.
