Ouch. Fix the harmony at 2:16 and it's great!
Slumming sounds good! Sounds like he's making that transition from live to studio.
BTW, I'd rather be able to pull it off live and have to work in the studio than vice versa.

If I made a list of microphones, do you think your studio pal would give me a reduced rate to just come in and try 'em out? I'd be nice to hear a good quality playback to make comparisons. Maybe dub to cassette and take home.
