I read two news releases on him - one said he was 58, but this one says he was 52, which is younger than I am!

I've lost a few pro's I've played with this year all mid 50's and one guy that was only 40.
Found out Friday, when I was playing with a band, that a guy I play with a lot, fronts a couple of bands and plays guitar, that he has a blood disorder ... might be leukemia

The sad thing is he a health nut .. and so was the 40 yr old.

Jim Fix, the health nut, died while jogging.

One of my favorite guitar players, he’ll be missed by his fans for sure, maybe now he’s jamming with his countryman Rory Gallagher another Irish great.

That's too bad. I've known a few health nuts who've taken a dive in their 40s and 50s, it's scary. One dude I knew was like 42, did Pranic Healing, a martial arts instructor, went on long walks every day, ate healthy, dropped dead while out on a walk. Everyone was in shock. We just don't know.
