Sans, here's one for you performed by perhaps the greatest slide guitar (bottleneck) player of all time:

You should check ou the other Youtube videos of Blind Willie Johnson. They are awesome and haunting...

I know NKF doesn't do a whole lot of covers but I'll bet you can do a great updated version of a few Blind Willie Johnson tunes. Soul of a Man is an awesome tune, check that one out if you haven't already. It ROCKS.

We have several covers in our catalog Bob.
But your right ... we don't use many.

We tried a "blues" rendition of a song I wrote last year.

It was awful. And my timing was all over the page.

Was an enlightening experience my friend.

I love the lyrical progression on the piece you posted.

As a matter of fact, it inspired me to story board a video for one of our songs.

I've sent the idea to Ray, he likes it a lot.

Thanks 8)

OK it’s no secret that I’m not a man of faith but that doesn’t stop me from listening to religious music, of the ones I heard this one so far tops the faith based songs.

Thanks Nav4c.

I have not seen / heard that particular piece before.

Being an rocker with a lot of 60's & 70 music in my back ground I find it difficult myself to listen to a lot of music presented these days. Religious or not.

I seem to have some particular difficulty with modern " praise & worship " music.
A lot of which is very popular.
Difficult because if find it lacks power.

It's a personal preference. And the music we perform, I find I enjoy the music that has that power to a much higher degree.

I'm a head banger of the old school and find, positive music that has that power is increasingly rare.
