We are now averaging one giant snow storm or blizzard a week... It's now taking it's toll on my income as I don't get paid when I can't make the 35 mile trek into work, It's doing a number on my car, It's really fukkin' up my back and neck (got herniated and bulging discs) and it's getting just plain sickening! It always takes a few days to get back to "normal" only to hear the newscast predicting the next Nor-Easter! Right now, as I'm writing this at 4:30 AM, we are getting pounded and I'm pretty sure we have at least 17" of this sh¡t with lots more to come! Oh well...Time to go downstairs and get the boots, gloves Parka etc... just finished a hearty breakfast and took my vitamins....if you don't hear from me, it means I'm buried somewhere in this godforsaken mess... I guess I'll thaw out in the Spring... ummm... Have a nice fukkin day! :x

It doesn't look any different here when I look out the window. We had only a few days that got up to freezing. I was tired of winter the day it started.

My sister lives just north of you in Connecticut. She was saying that this is the snowiest January on record there. I believe EVERY storm that you have got started either right on top of us (Kansas City area) or just east and south of here and travelled to the mid-Atlantic and came up the coast. We've had about 20 inches which is actually what we average for the entire Winter. There's a chief meteoroligist named Gary Lezak in K.C. who's starting to get a national reputation for long-range seasonal forecasts. Back at the beginning of November he predicted that the Northeast would be hit by record snows this year. Last year in Kansas City we had a really bad Winter which he predicted. He invented his Lezak Recurring Cycle (LRC for short) which predicts the Winter based on trends that set up from September thru October. I guess unfortunately for you he's been right on the money again. Hopefully you'll get a break in February, but don't count on it.

Sorry Crip, but there's a chance you're getting yet another doozy next week, right after we get ours on Tuesday. 100% chance of heavy snow in K.C. Tuesday. You may have to call Noah when all that snow starts melting....

Very funny. Crip isn't joking. Streets are one lane roads, the jets BLEW it, shovels are becoming a body part, my driver is down to 10 stops a day, and I end up covering all at the end of the day, it is heart attack city, and even worse is the beer trucks can't get through.

I'm thinking just becoming a rock star would be a whole lot easier.
