Not A Bad Search At All!

Wow! Last time I did a search for musicians I was very disappointed. Well, I just did a search for drummers alone, and spent about two hours looking. That's 12 pages worth of people. I must have saved a little over 30 profiles to contact. Now, I still have bass players and vocalists to look for!

It's about time the roster grew on this site! I'm glad I'm sticking it out. The only dilemma I have is: Do I wait to finish recording and posting up new audio, or just hit a few up? Not that what I have now is bad per se, but a better example of style and sound would sure broaden my chances. There are some really good drummers available!

Yay, I'm having a computer party!

If I've learned anything in the past few months, it's to have something ready and finished before you even bother looking. People say they want input into the writing, but don't want to be there on the ground floor to write it with you. :?

Right, I mean, the reason I'm looking for members is to record with them. I figured my current audio would be suggestive enough style-wise. I'm not sure if listeners are as forgiving about that these days.

Honestly, I have no qualms about writing everything. It just gives me more entree' to get my ideas out there. Recording everything yourself is a bitch though.

Right now, I'm fighting with my microphone. Looks like my little 6 inch solid state Marshall packs plenty of distortion. I have yet to hear my Peavey. I don't really think it's necessary to use my half stack...but maybe I'll try it. That JCM 900 sounds sick with the 6505!
