Got Snow?

I shoveled my walk early in the storm when there was only about a foot of the stuff on the ground.
I only did it so I would get off my arse and get some exercise.
Today there was another foot to shovel. Did that batch with a blower this time. Still snowing. Going on 3 days of the stuff. Someone said this was going to be a mild winter with little snow. I wonder if they still have their job. Maybe that was a Florida weather prediction?

Up in the great white north ... where I live ... we only have a couple of inchs of snow ... Slacker ... but we have those couple of inches for 3 to 4 months ... it's around -10C out today ... -14C tonight

Yeah we got snow and plenty of it, more on the way.
Florida is looking better and better.

Yep.
A few inches.
Beats the hell out of the eternal gray that presides over east Texas in the deep winter months.
It is very beautiful in the fields and on the trees.
It did not stick to the road surfaces, so only the real dumb-asses ( of which there are many ) had any trouble negotiating the daily commute.

KC Metro got anywhere from 4-8 inches. Supposed to be very cold mid-week. Here I go shoveling the parking lot again, plow made one pass as usual. I'm like a human plow. Some of my neighbors are from Mexico. They're lucky to have a gringo like me for a neighbor...I thrive in cold weather, I'm 3/4 Russian. Cold weather is in my blood.

we're all whining up here cause we've got nuthin..
a few measly inches on the ground in the south anyway.
and my ice rink making this year is failing miserably

Finally quit snowing here. The other side is that we have below zero temps with unrealistic wind chill. The winds are now blowing all the snow back to fill the shoveled walks. It's kinda neat. I really like it. Snow is good.
Just some of the stuff I tell myself as I walk past the window.
