I really hate seeing stuff like this

For those who won't follow the link, a band I knew for a few years, that seemed like it was on its way to doing well for itself has ended. Okay, it wasn't really my kind of music, but I liked the guys nevertheless.
I'm seeing it happen a bit lately. More than one band with friends of mine in them are starting to have internal troubles. This is the first one to actually end, but it doesn't look great for at least one other.
I know it's just going to be like that, sometimes, but I don't have to like it...
...and I don't.
