You guys with your dueling videos. How about writing something instead?

Being a good parent is not much harder than being a bad one, you just have to care and work hard. My kids practically raised themselves, and are now pretty much independent and successful. I would have had more than two if I could have afforded it.

When I write things trouble starts.

Although I've always been good with kids I've never had any interest in having kids. I'd rather be the weird uncle who visits, to the delight of the children and the horror of the parents.

I'm glad that you at least thought about it Mike, too many people just have kids without ever wondering if they should.

Too many people would have their license revoked for breeding morons.

Kids are like songs, they can be the most beautiful things when they're created. Listen to them over and over and over, then you just get plumb burnt out. :)

And so kids are like a pack of smokes, you can be completely addicted but man do they stink.

And last but not least, wives are like......yeah right, what really stinks is getting punched in the eye for saying sh*t like that.

My kids practically raised themselves

I have a 20 yr old son, 17 yr old daughter, and a new baby ( 3 & 1/2 months) and I have to agree with this statement.

Kids are little people, treat them as such and they do fine, treat them like property or pets and you have issues.

I will admit I didn't watch the videos... baby is sleeping!

I have no idea how to raise children. My son is grown, & is a far better man than I was at his age, so I guess I've done okay...but don't ask me how it happened!

I'm kinda glad that I only had the one, for myself...but I think he missed out on not having more family.

I am REALLY glad that I didn't have any daughters, though! That would have been more than I was/am prepared to handle. I guess it's true what they say - god doesn't give ya nothing you can't handle! I would have sucked at fathering a girl, I think...being overprotective & just plain weird...plus there's that phobia I have about 'women's health issues'...ugh!
