Well this seems to work pretty well...I looked it up because I have to replace the ground wire to the strings on a friend's Les Paul junior.

Those can be removed a couple of ways.

Get a socket bigger than the bushing, and a bolt that fits the threads in it, 1/4 to 3/8 inch longer than the socket. Put bolt through socket and screw it in. Pulls the bushing right out. Use a small piece of duct tape to avoid scratching the body.
