This new band that I'm in is in the formative stages and I can't really define us. We already have a big variety of tunes, a few kick ass blues songs of course, a big band tune, some straightforward rock, one that reminds me of Black Sabbath a little, a few Hendrix tunes, one Hendrix tune that we play quite differently than the original (Hey Joe), it's making my head spin. One of the young guys is a former conservatory student, another teaches and is taking guitar lessons at the same time, I'm a 30 year blues veteran and our drummer is a heavy hitting rock drummer. Different influences that are somehow coming together in quite an interesting mix. I expect that this next year we will be getting quite busy. I'm even hoping to perform every weekend. Sky's the limit. First time in years I am this hopeful about a music project.

You know Fisher, this is an enviable position that you are in. Congrats on finding such an ecclectic crew. That is my goal.
