This new band whom really can't agree on a name and know we are all veterans in the music biz.
We struggle to rehearse 3 times a month but Damn there is phenonemal music on our WORST day!
Our drummer has said over time that the last band he played with really was close to MAKING it asked recently if I would do a tune with them to post.

Never heard the song before cool song me like it. I'd collaborate with anyone who can write songs like that.

Let me comment on this post your reply on the "good old days post so not to bump it again.

I have no doubt that you know those songs from the 70's anybody who was around in the 70's know those tune and most know how to playing'em, you know what the drill for cover bands was back then if you wanted to get gigs had to play the top 40's but it was no sacrifice play that kind of music.

It's true that ya never know who you're working with. I played with this lawyer a few times. He was a pretty good guitarist. Not a bad singer. He had a stroke, & he was fighting hard to come back from it, & I played with him a cpl more times after that. I also did a bunch of work on his house. It was coming along very nicely.

Then he slashed his ex-wife with a knife, cut her up into little pieces, stuffed her into two suitcases that he bought at WalMart, stabbed the SUITCASES several times, & dumped her into Back Creek.

He was caught when the cops found securty vids of him buying the suitcases at that fine establishment. I still have one of his books that he lent me. I doubt he needs it back.

JH - this is one fine tune! I can see it being used in a movie.

I"d really try to keep the peace in that band, but if you can't, grab the few who CAN get along & keep working with them.
