Thanks to the net, I found a lot of old Thrash that I barely heard of,or never heard of before in my life. Rare, long out of print stuff.

Astharoth
Bulldozer
Antidote
Deathrow
Assorted Heap

There's lots more. Pretty good stuff.

Are there any rough gems you guys have discovered?

I discover stuff every time I review my LP collection.
Bram Tchaikovsky Group out of England-1981
I have an old LP of Gregg and Duane Allman (Probably around the time of there group Hour Glass)
Faith Band-won that one on a contest I entered in 1975.
and finally- A group called Innocence.

It's good being old.

There's a bottomless well of cool music out there I'm always digging through. I read an interview with Poison Ivy Rorschach once where she said that she and Lux Interior, in their naivety, were SERIOUSLY planning to buy a copy of EVERY record ever made...until they discovered how impossible this actually is to do. Still, they amassed quite an amazing record collection. I wish I could dig through it!

Wendy O and The Plasmatics... My best friend Phil (R.I.P.) and I used to go to the record store and raid the $1 used LP section. We'd buy about 20 and go home and check em out.
We found:
Wendy O Williams and the Plasmatics
Kraftworks - Autobahn
Blade
Bang
Oingo Boingo
Roughcut
and many many more.

Good deals for $1.

If you've never seen it, check out the film "Forbidden Zone" with Richard and Danny Elfman, Mystic Knights of The Oingo Boingo, Hervé Villechaize, Susan Tyrrell, Viva, and the Kipper Kids.

If you're not offended by porn, you can check out Wendy O. Williams' screen debut in "Candy Goes To Hollywood." She performs her "Ping-Pong Ball Trick" on the "Dong Show."

What is your problem? Those videos contain NOTHING obscene. They're freely available on YouTube fer crissakes. Take a valium and chill the f**k out.

BTW, I don't think you give the kids enough credit. A lot of 'em are more mature than most "adults."

The only one I am REMOTELY guilty of is:

Promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's copyrighted work, such as providing pirated computer programs or links to them, providing information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices, or providing pirated music or links to pirated music files

But, you'd have to ban EVERYONE on this site for that. Somehow, I don't think BM will cut off their nose to spite their face.

I love Kraft work! Great industrial band, if that's what you want to call them.

By Roughcut, do you mean Rough Cutt? If that's the case then I gotta say whoever decided to sell their copy to the record store really cheated themselves. Great band.

I've just shifted to another genre:Funk. 70's Funk. But it's hard finding bands I don't know about, including obscure ones. Someone turn me on to something I may not know about.
