One of those was you had to be a property owner. And that makes a lot of sense, because if you're a property owner you actually have a vested stake in the community. Why stop there? Let's go back to the days when women, blacks and any other non-white male couldn't vote. Then we could also say you have to make at least 100K, because if you make less you're just trash. Gotta love the teabaggers.

Every citizen should have the right to vote Equally. In N.Y. some people have voted more than once, and now they will face charges.

We are a REPUBLIC. That means we vote for a person we feel will represent us best. We are not a true democracy were majority rules.
