We have a tradition of having Alaskan Crab legs for T-day. A little melted butter and OMFG it's good.......

That certainly sounds like a KILLER tradition, Stranger!
We used to do that at Xmas, until my son developed an allergy to shellfish...dammit...

Man I love crab legs. Years ago the Red Lobster in Midland had an all you can eat on Thursdays. Which happened to coincide with my payday. We'd drive about 75 miles and I'd eat till I could not swallow.
After about three visits they stopped doing the AYCE thing.
I also made the mistake of letting my wife eat one of my raw oysters.
Some things a man should just be quiet about.

Oh, man! That is a FEAST! Crabs, crablegs, raw oysters, clams (raw, steamed or fried), scallops (sauteed, if you please), crawdads, mussels...just imagine...when I was a wee lad, all of that was considered to be po' folks food! We po' folks knew how to eat, & we did it well, until the rich bastids got into it, upped the prices on it all, & started to feed us *gasp* fake cheese!
Damn you, WIC Program!

Some of us are thankful every day, Craig, &, therefore, need no "special reminder day."

But you're not one of them! You complain too much every day to be that thankful!
LOL

7 score and 7 years ago my great, great grandad was born a bastard of the civil war. A great tradesman took him as his own and gave him his name. A Miller he was, and became a well known trader that took on a lot of kids that didn't belong to him either, and raised them to become some of the great farmers and preachers in the state of North Carolina.
I can truly say I am thankfull to be alive !!!
