People in the propaganda machine do this as their job. It is a lowlife scumbag that would spend his day doing things like this.
People like the guy who sends them to you are usually not aware that they are spurious... and I have little doubt that a tiny few of the people that send them out are fully aware.

Although this incident may be a fraud, Muslims really DO a lot of horrible things in the name of Allah. Stoning, beheading, cutting off hands...there's video online if you know where to find it, and it ain't no illusion.

Having said that, Christianity and other religions have their own f**k up sh*t. So, I'm not just Islam-bashing here.

The "religion" is not responsible for the evil acts of men.
The men are.

I disagree.

Only the individual is responsible.

It really is as simple as that.

One thing determines your religion more than any other:

Where you were born....

When you're taught stupid things from birth you tend to do stupid things.

Believe what ever you want to get you through the day, that's your right, there's no way of determining whether they are true or not, although common sense would say that most of what religion says is just delusion.......grand schemes made up to support a point of view.

But the evil that's perpetuated from organized religion is the ultimate crime of humanity. When you choose to believe in something as far out as some of the mainstream religions....you can believe in anything....

I'm sorry folks but I tend to agree with this.
Nothing has caused more misery than religion. In the old testament God sent armies of men to massacre entire villages of innocent people and take their land.
How can you follow that as an lesson in goodness?
90% of ALL wars have been religiously based in their promotion, but it has always been for mans greed cloaked in holiness.
There is nothing holy in war
There is nothing holy in ignorance
There is nothing holy in elitism
There is nothing holy in fear
There is nothing holy in the wealthiest entity on the planet taking 10% of the poor's income
There is nothing holy in poor people worshiping in multi-million dollar church buildings
There is nothing holy in pain and misery allowed by a being that can do anything he pleases for his creations

"there is nothing holier than my underwear"

90% of all wars have NOT been religiously based, but based by misinterpretations of religion. None of the major religions dictate war, people have falsely used religion as an excuse to go to war. The Islamic terrorists are bastardizing Islam just as the Crusaders bastardized Christianity. What has been done in the name of religion has nothing to do with religion. It has everything to do with scumbags feeling no guilt about what they do because they use religion as an excuse for their evil deeds. People who TRULY practice their religions do NOT commit atrocities and do NOT start wars. Read any great religious text and you'll realize the greatness of those texts. Misinterpret those texts for political gains and you're just another scumbag like the Crusaders, terrorists, Spanish Inquisition, etc.

I'll stick to what I said Bob. Just because some only follow the good side of religion doesn't make it any lees of an evil establishment or instrument. Those same people that pontificate do dirty deeds against their fellow man.

Christians had to pay for prayers for their loved ones for much of the past.

The church harbors pedophiles to this day... and funny how the government doesn't issue warrants for their arrest eh?!
Hand in Hand Brother!

Religion has been the most powerful and wealthiest entity on the planet for as long as it has existed. It uses fear mongering to create a submissive following just like our government does.

Religions are cults and nothing more IMHO.

Imagine life with no religion. Where you pay for your misdeeds to your fellow man now, not "maybe" when you die!

Imagine that YOU are responsible for what happens, not God or the Devil.

I don't say there is no God, just not the one portrayed in the Bible or Koran.

It just sounds utterly ridiculous to me and I just can't buy the contradictory nature of the document. In fact it's maybe the most ridiculous theory I've ever heard.

After growing up hearing the Bible almost daily, and being of a deductive nature, I just cannot imagine this being the truth... And I sure can't see the God portrayed in it as being a loving God worthy of worship.

I know his history (the zodiac) and I know his history in the Bible = jealous, vengeful, violent, cruel.

I much prefer Buddhism where you get what you give. I see good Christians suffer their entire life with no reward whatsoever.

A promise from a mortal man (the Bible was written and adulterated by men) telling you this will pay off just doesn't seem like a "reasonable" expectation to me.

I live in the here and now because that is the only truth I know.
