The question is: Are they entertaining?

If the answer is yes, then they're just doing their job well.

Don't they do stuff like that at nudist colonies already? I would probably guess that their music sucks so bad (audio was garbage on the vid) that they had to come up with some way to draw attention to themselves. My music doesnt need the baffle them with B.S. treatment that some bands have to do...

Not only did the have a big crowd, but the crowd knew the words. They were'nt just opening for someone else.

As long as the music is good and expenses get paid I don't care about being famous.

There's been so many Baffle'm With B.S. acts over the years. The music is the ONLY thing that really matters. Close your eyes and LISTEN to the music. If it sucks then they suck. Period.

I'm kinda of the school that EVERYTHING an artist does becomes part of the performance. It doesn't have to be deliberately theatrical. In fact I totally DID NOT WANT to do any theatrics in my live show for ages. But, doing avant-garde noise awhile has kinda loosened me up a bit on that point.

Whatever an artist does or doesn't do is part of the whole package. That's why I seldom bill myself as a "musician." I usually call myself a "creator" instead, since I do more than just music.
