MySpace kinda screwed up...

I just saw the new features today, and they suck! They took the alphabetical order off the friends, and re-organized everything in a shitty format. I didn't even have the patience to trip with all of it. Now, either more of my friends are gone, or missing until they get everything fixed.

What do you guys think of the new setup?

Myspace has steadily gotten worse to use and less valuable as a musicians tool.
I used to get lots of plays and very many when I added new fans. Now people don't even listen to the music anymore. They just add you and usually you never hear from them.

Not to mention the hell it is trying to get support from them.

Myspace Sucks!

they're startin to follow the facebook theme. Never did like myspace, but mostly because everyone's theme is cluttered with a ton of stuff that takes forever to load - not to mention the ads are often loaded with malware...

I hardly even check Myspace anymore unless I see something in my e-mail that I got a message or something. Heck...I don't even check my Facebook as much as I read through the posts on here...and I don't even know you guys and gals personally. Guess that says something about most of the people on my FB...huh? LOL!!!

Yeah, I'm in a love/hate relationship with Narc-Book. It's great if you want to get in touch with folks, hook up with them, organize a last minute party. But it's hard to get people to listen to music on there like Myspace. Most people I check on Myspace haven't visited their pages in over a year, so there's no point to me posting updates on there.

Professionally, I use Reverbnation if I want someone to check out my music.

I'm torn also. I don't Twitter because honestly, I got better things to do than telling people I got my finger up my ass every minute of the damn day. They should just change the name of that to "For People Who Care What I Think." I wish something better would come along.

MurdochSpace is just another networking tool. It is cheaper than setting up your own website. I don't really spend a lot of time on Facebook either. If someone leaves a comment I get an email and reply. This forum on Bandmix is about as "social" as I get online.

I haven't had a myspace since eight grade.

I've never had a problem with Myspace as it was always just a free spot to send people to hear my music.

I really wish it wouldn't get like Facebook. I hate Facebook, but it's a nessecary evil.

But can they make it anymore confusing or difficult ?

They f'ed up our site pretty bad.

I am just waiting for the next update so they can f*ck it up so bad it won't run at all.

Better than face book though.. I get one more virus from face book and I am making up an ANFO cake for them.

The MySpace programmers are mediocre hacks.
They need to fire the lot of them, and get some programmers with brains . . .

At one time I was getting Myspace messages and friend requests almost every day, now it's a few each month. I'm not sure the new format will help the situation.
