General Music Chat

Got together with a very young guitarist and a rhythm guitarist/lead singer. It was rough but there's potential. They seriously need a good drummer. If they find one and want to concentrate on originals FIRST I'm game for a return visit. The young guy is going to be a MONSTER a few years from now, no doubt. Who knows where his musical taste will be then. The other guy has a great voice, much dirtier than mine, perfect really for rock or blues. With a little practice who knows...

Fun only if everybody is on the same page and wants to do something MORE than play cover tunes all night for peanuts...

Seriously, though, Sounds like a good deal. And it sounds like an oppurtunity to share your experience. Make the most of it.

And IF you guys click and are able to pull out some real music, well that's when it's... well enjoyable would be a better word than fun I guess.
